Meeting with a learning strategist:

Learning strategists work with students on time management, organizational skills, study strategies and tracking assignments. Learning strategists are not writing or content tutors. Students can set appointments for the same day and time for the entire semester. Preference is giving to first year students. Once the Learning Strategists are fully booked, students requesting support will be placed on a waitlist.

Please note:

CDR Academic Support is a service and NOT an accommodation. While we do our best to meet our student’s needs, these resources are not unlimited and are based on availability and funding resources. Students registered with CDR can be referred to academic support by their access coordinator or by emailing cdras@syr.edu. All students must be registered and had their Welcome Meeting prior to requesting any Academic Support. For learning strategist support, preference is given to first year students. Once the program is full, students will be placed on a waitlist. Academic Support does not start scheduling appointments with a learning strategist until the week prior to classes starting. However, you may place your request prior to that time. If you have any questions, please email cdras@syr.edu.
